Is it me, you, them or us?

As the foray into 21st learning spaces continues, each member of the community of practice (CoP) is given a task - create a personal learning network. The same week I am asked to explore my own personal learning space.
It soon becomes clear the process I am following mirrors that of the learner I am already or will be soon teaching. Readings encourage reflection on successful learning experiences and barriers to moving forward. Mind maps are used to connect and organise information.

The CoP supports as the personal learning journeys begin. Resources and words of encouragement are welcome feedback.
Self reflection is evident with many references to Blooms taxonomy (Pappas, 2010). Plans are reviewed and changed.

Success is evident, the list of personal learning networks grows. The modelling of success provides impetuous for me as I choose a platform and design for my blog.
The challenges continue. Who is the learner and how do other learning spaces interact with and support the personal learning space? What decisions do educators need to make to nurture and empower the learner to take responsibility for their own learning?
